Her Story continues Wednesday

Mary Eilleen Lyon, associate vice president for News and Information Services, will be the next speaker at the Women’s Center’s Her Story series.

Lyon will share her experiences in leadership roles on Wednesday, March 20, at noon in room 2266 of the Kirkhof Center. Students, faculty and staff members who attend are encouraged to bring their lunches.

Lyon spent 20 years as a television news anchor and reporter before coming to Grand Valley 10 years ago. She produces, writes and serves as on-camera talent for videos for Grand Valley, and leads a staff that produces Grand Valley Magazine, and handles media, publicity, events and crisis communications.

The Her Story series, co-sponsored by the Women’s Commission, offers an opportunity for the campus community to listen to authentic stories of women in leadership positions at Grand Valley.
