The Career Center held its annual Internship Recognition Luncheon,
recognizing 107 students and 23 supervisors as nominees for
Outstanding Student Intern and Outstanding Internship Supervisor of
the Year.
Below is a list of awardees.
• Outstanding Intern of the Year: Steven Stamper, accounting
major who is interning at Steelcase;
• Outstanding Internship Supervisor of the Year: Tim Johnston, client technology and customer liaison manager at Herman Miller;
• Outstanding Internship Employers of the Year: Mercantile Bank and Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services;
• Outstanding Internship Advocate of the Year: Simha Magal,
professor of management in the Seidman College of Business.
