Lakers beat SVSU to advance in playoffs

For the second straight week, the Grand Valley State football team was on the winning end against rival Saginaw Valley State. This time it was in the NCAA Division II playoffs. The Lakers beat the Cardinals, 40-7 at Lubbers Stadium November 23.
