Photos: Women's Center hosts afternoon tea
The campus community was invited to the centuries-old tradition of
combining tea parties with conversations about politics, literature
and reform on March 26.
Sponsored by the Women’s Center, “EqualiTea” featured select
performances from the student production of “That Takes Ovaries!” and
excerpts from the upcoming production of Sherri Slater’s “Loudmouths,”
which will take place April 5 in Muskegon. Slater is a Grand Valley
student and recipient of the Women’s Center Outstanding Student award.
