About 60 people honored women alumni and current faculty members
for their leadership skills and connections to sports during a
reception October 5 at the Alumni House.
The Celebration of Women in Sport and Physical Activity also
served as a fundraiser for an endowment fund that will support
professional development opportunities and scholarships for students.
Current faculty members Shari Bartz-Smith (Movement Science),
Wendy Burns-Ardolino (Liberal Studies) and Pat Oldt (College of
Education) were honored as were alumni Cari Draft, Claudette Charney
and Joanna Kitlinski.
