A group of campus departments are sponsoring an event that will
feature a fashion show of business attire, styling tips and more.
The fourth annual “Dress For Success Fashion Show” will take
place Thursday, April 4, from 4-6 p.m. in the Grand River Room of the
Kirkhof Center. Students will model business outfits, and community
vendors offering professional services, such as dry cleaning and hair
styling, will be available.
Students in the Hospitality and Tourism Management class, “Intro
to Event and Meeting Planning,” organized the event to give students a
chance to see ways to dress for a variety of jobs.
A clothing drive, with business attire donated from a local dry
cleaning business, will take place at the event. Faculty and staff can
also donate clothing to the drive.
The event is free and open to the campus community. It is
sponsored by Career Services, Women’s Center, Office of Multicultural
Affairs and the Seidman College of Business’ Professional Development
Series.
