Summer Carillon Concert Series set
The Grand Valley State University Summer Carillon Concert Series
brings some of the world’s finest carillonneurs to perform on two
campuses, rain or shine.
The 19th annual Cook Carillon International Concert Series runs
Sundays at 8 p.m., on the Allendale Campus, June 23 through August 18.
Kicking off the series is a performance by Anne Kroeze, from The
Netherlands.
Kroeze is carillonneur of his hometown of Emmeloord, The
Netherlands. He is also an organist and plays piano and organ with
four choirs. He won first prize at the International Carillon
Competition in Springfield, Illinois and first prize at the
International Carillon Competition in Winterswijk, the Netherlands.

The 13th annual Beckering Family International Carillon Series,
on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus, brings four weeks of concerts on
Wednesdays at noon, beginning July 11.
