Campus community to sign holiday cards for military members, veterans
For the third year in a row, Campus Dining and the American Red Cross are partnering to host Holiday Mail for Heroes, an initiative to send holiday cards to military members, veterans and their families.
Students, faculty and staff members are invited to sign a card at stations on the Allendale Campus, with a goal of reaching 1,000 signed cards. The cards will be distributed locally and throughout the state by the Red Cross.

“Holiday Mail for Heroes” is a national initiative to collect holiday cards that are sent to men and women at military installations, veterans hospitals and other locations. All cards should be signed, addressed with generic salutations and contain no inserts or sender contact information.
