Grand Valley has been chosen as one of 64 institutions to participate in Mock Interview Madness, a contest to encourage students to practice and perfect their interviewing skills by using Interview Stream.

The Sweet 16 will be determined by the number of interviews completed in March. The winner will be the university with the highest number of practice interviews in March through the end of the NCAA tournament.

Students and alumni can use Interview Stream to record mock interviews by answering generic and custom questions from their laptop or in the Career Center. They can then receive feedback and a personal assessment from Career Center advisors.

“It’s a great tool that we’d like to promote for students to take advantage of, especially as we approach graduation,” said Susan Proctor, employer development manager for the Career Center.

The winner will be announced April 7.
