Donna Brazile to give presentation at Grand Valley
Donna Brazile, former chair of the Democratic National Committee,
will give a presentation at Grand Valley State University Monday,
February 3.
Sponsored by Grand Valley's NAACP chapter, Brazile’s presentation
will take place at 6 p.m. in room 2250, Kirkhof Center, Allendale
Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Named one of the “Top 50 Women in America” by Essence
Magazine and “20 Remarkable Visionaries” by The Oprah
Magazine, Brazile is a regular political commentator for CNN and
ABC News. She is the DNC vice chair of Voter Registration and
Participation and former chair of its Voting Rights Institute.
Brazile’s visit is supported by Grand Valley’s Women’s Center,
Office of Student Life, Office of Multicultural Affairs, The Office of
Inclusion and Equity, Women and Gender Studies, College of Community
and Public Service, and Dean of Students. It is in conjunction with
the university’s Black History Month events.
