Grand Valley’s Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies will host a workshop as part of the center’s Common Ground program that will focus on helping emerging community leaders learn to work with their rivals.
Common Ground Workshop: Working with a Team of Rivals

Whitney and Cleary will use the interactive workshop to help emerging community leaders understand the idea that people with opposing beliefs and contentious attitudes can come together and work toward a common goal and realize successful end results. The workshop will draw from American history, great books, and personal experience to empower participants to work with elected officials and civic leaders to build better communities.
Heavy appetizers will be provided. The workshop is LIB 100/201 approved.
