Nonprofit Volunteer and Internship Fair provides new opportunities for students
More than 50 agencies, returning and new, will be at the Nonprofit
Volunteer and Internship Fair, sponsored by the Community Service and
Learning Center.
The fair will be held in Henry Hall Atrium from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. on
Thursday, January 16. It will provide students with opportunities to
apply their coursework to the nonprofit sector.
Laura Murnen, graduate assistant for the Office of Student Life,
coordinated the fall 2013 event and this semester’s event. She said
the fair will provide a wide range of volunteer opportunities in
different categories and disciplines. “The event will allow students
to live out a passion that could lead them to a career,” said Murnen.
