A message from the Grand Valley Police Department:
On October 16, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Grand Rapids Police arrested a subject in connection with the weapons complaint reported near the Pew Grand Rapids Campus on October 15. The suspect was initially confronted regarding a separate complaint, however, it was determined that he matched the description of the suspect seen at the Pew Grand Rapids Campus. The suspect admitted that he was at the location with the weapon. The weapon was found to be a BB gun. GRPD charged the subject under City Ordinance.
