About 6.6 million adults in the United States are affected by
stalking each year. The Women’s Center is hosting an event January 30,
in conjunction with National Stalking Awareness Month, to provide an
opportunity for the campus community to discuss the crime and how to
stop it.
“Stalking: Know It. Name It. Stop It.” will take place from
6-7:30 p.m. in room 2266 of the Kirkhof Center.
Grand Valley alumna Tara Aday, development and communications
associate for Safe Haven Ministries in Grand Rapids, will lead a
discussion during the event.
