The 38th season of the Arts at Noon concert series continues Wednesday, October 14, with a performance by some of Russia's most renowned young string players.

Under the direction of ensemble founder and director Misha Rachlevsky, Chamber Orchestra Kremlin has performed more than 1,600 concerts in 24 countries since it began in 1991. Nearly half of said concerts have been performed in Moscow with the remaining taking place in Europe, North and South America, and the Far East.

The orchestra’s discography of more than 30 CDs has received international acclaim, such as a Diapason d’Or Award in France, Critics Choice in The New York Times and Record of the Year in Hong Kong. The orchestra’s repertoire of compositions consists of approximately 1,000 pieces, with more than 20 written specifically for the ensemble by composers from Russia, Europe and the U.S.

All concerts take place in the Cook-DeWitt Center on the Allendale Campus, begin at noon, and last approximately one hour. Each concert is free and open to the public.
