The myGVSU Campus Climate Survey is open through Sunday.

Grand Valley's fifth campus climate survey will close on Sunday, November 22.

To date, the student response rate is 27 percent, and 41 percent of faculty and staff members (total response rate is 29 percent) have completed the myGVSU Campus Climate Survey 2015.

Jesse Bernal, vice president for Inclusion and Equity, said he hopes for increased participation. "The survey will help support our values of inclusiveness and community," Bernal said. "Every voice and experience matters in our effort to create an even more welcoming environment at Grand Valley."

The survey will close at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

Incentives are offered to everyone who completes the survey. Students will be entered into a drawing to win one of four $2,000 tuition grants; faculty members can win one of three $1,000 research or professional development grants; and staff members can win one of three $1,000 professional development grants. If the faculty and staff combined response rate is 60 percent or greater, two more $2,000 tuition grants will be offered to students.

Personal emails, and reminders, were sent to members of the campus community with a link to the survey on November 12.

More information about the survey is online at www.gvsu.edu/mygvsu.
