With a population of 51 million people, South Korea’s $1 trillion economy is export-driven and relies heavily on international trade. With a consistent placement in the top 10 countries to which Michigan exports its goods, the South Korean market provides several opportunities for businesses.
The Van Andel Global Trade Center at Grand Valley State University is hosting "Doing Business in South Korea." The one-day conference will focus on strategic business practices, tips for building relationships and furthering knowledge regarding imports, exports and investments with South Korea. Participants will hear from international trade and legal experts, compliance managers and economists.
