President opens NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships

President Thomas J. Haas opened the first day of the NCAA Division
II Women’s Golf National Championship by hitting an honorary tee shot
from hole No. 1 at the Meadows Golf Course.
The best Division II women golfers in the country will play at
Grand Valley’s home course through Saturday, May 16. It marks the
ninth time the Meadows has hosted the NCAA Division II women’s
national championship; it has hosted the men’s championship three times.
Laker Kelly Hartigan, a senior from Lake Orion, will compete as
an individual after winning the NCAA East Super Regional May 5.
