Science on Tap set for SpeakEZ

"Science on Tap" is a series of casual discussions about science coupled with food and drink at the SpeakEZ Lounge in Grand Rapids.

Kevin Strychar, associate professor of water resources, is the next speaker in the series; Strychar will give a presentation, “Climate Change: Why It Isn’t a Myth Perpetuated by Science,” on Thursday, May 14, 8 p.m. at the SpeakEZ Lounge, 600 Monroe Ave. NW. The event is open to the public.

Cara Ocobock, assistant professor of biomedical sciences, said she established the series at the lounge in an effort to increase science literacy and spark discussion with the public.
