Two current “Saturday Night LIVE” cast members are heading to Grand Valley’s Allendale Campus for a comedy show that is free for students.

The show, presented by Spotlight Productions in conjunction with the Office of Student Life, will feature SNL cast members Aidy Bryant and Jay Pharoah. The event will take place Thursday, October 22, from 8-11 p.m. in the Field House Arena. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Free tickets are available at the 2020 Desk located in the Kirkhof Center. Students who originally purchased tickets can either receive a refund by bringing tickets to the 2020 Desk, or choose to sit in reserved seating in the front of the arena during the performance.

Since her debut four seasons ago on SNL, Bryant has entertained viewers with her various characters, including the recurring “Girlfriends Talk Show” sketch. Entertainment Weekly also recently recognized Bryant with its fan favorite EWwy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy.

Currently in his sixth SNL season, Pharoah is best known for his wide array of celebrity impressions, including President Obama, Will Smith, Denzel Washington and Kanye West.
