Soccer wins national title for third straight year

The Laker soccer team won the NCAA Division II National Championship December 5, beating Columbus State, 2-0, in Pensacola, Florida.
It's the third consecutive title for Grand Valley, dating to the 2013 season, and the program's fifth national championship.
Goals were scored by junior Marti Corby, who was named to the NSCAA All-American First Team, and senior Katie Bounds.
