Statewide consortium meeting set for Monday

Grand Valley’s Women’s Center and the Michigan ACE Women’s Network have teamed to sponsor a daylong workshop for faculty and staff members within Michigan who work in women’s centers, women and gender studies, or who are interested in gender justice work or opening a center on their campus.

The Michigan Women’s Center Consortium will meet Monday, May 11, at the Alumni House on the Allendale Campus. GVSU faculty and staff members are invited; the workshop is free and will run from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., lunch is provided.

Jessica Jennrich, director of the Women’s Center, said roundtable topics throughout the day will include fund development, professional development, relationship building and program sustainability.
