Superior Awards student submissions being accepted

Student submissions are now being accepted for the third annual Superior Awards. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, March 29, by noon.

Hosted by the advertising and public relations program in the School of Communications, the awards serve as recognition for work completed by students in the program.

The Superior Awards will take place Tuesday, April 14, from 6-7:30 p.m. in Lake Superior Hall, room 290.

“The Superior Awards is a great opportunity for students to get more involved in the APR program and also receive recognition for their hard work,” said Adrienne Wallace, visiting professor of advertising and public relations. “This event gives students the chance to build their resume and written portfolio, which in turn prepares them for their future careers as professionals.”

Any student in the advertising and public relations program can submit work completed during the 2014-15 academic year. Local Grand Rapids professionals recognized for their expertise in the fields of communications, public relations, marketing and advertising, will judge student entries.
