Farmers Market will open with Summer Grill Challenge

Now in its 10th year, the GVSU Farmers Market will open Wednesday, June 1, with the Summer Grill Challenge.

Lunch participants can sample grill recipes then vote for their favorite offering from President Thomas J. Haas and Marcia Haas; Andy Beachnau, associate vice provost for Student Services and director of housing; and Facilities staff members.

Proceeds from the grill challenge will benefit the Children's Enrichment Center and Student Food Pantry.

The Farmers Market will be open Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in parking lot G of the Allendale Campus. The market will run through October 26.
