Hauenstein Center event canceled Thursday; visitation times released

The Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies has canceled "Common Ground in Secondary Education" that was scheduled for Thursday, January 14, following the death of the center's founder, Ralph Hauenstein on January 10.

The Hauenstein family will receive friends at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, and one hour prior to the mass at the Cathedral of St. Andrew Catholic Church on Friday from 9-10 a.m. 

The service will be followed by military honors.

WGVU will broadcast the funeral from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on WGVU FM (88.5 and 95.3) and on WGVU TV (35-2 and 52-2).
