Laker football takes on Ferris in Super Region 4 final on December 3

The Laker football team will take on conference rival Ferris State in the Super Region 4 final on December 3 at Lubbers Stadium in Allendale at 1 p.m.

Grand Valley leads the all-time series against Ferris, 29-16-1. Grand Valley has won 16 of the last 21 games between the schools. The Lakers most recently beat Ferris 35-23 earlier this season, and last beat the Bulldogs in the playoffs in 2015 with a 38-34 win.
Grand Valley is 14-9 at Lubbers Stadium against Ferris State.
This is the Lakers 18th time advancing to the NCAA DII playoffs, which is the third-highest total among active DII schools. Grand Valley is 35-13 all-time in the NCAA DII playoffs, including a 35-8 record since 2001.
