Laker football to broadcast national signing day live

Grand Valley will televise live coverage of national signing day on Wednesday, February 3, so Laker fans will learn the newest members of the football team as soon as they are announced.

The live show, with commentators Tom Cleary and Steve Lloyd-Jones, will air from noon-2 p.m. on Comcast 900 and it will be webcast live. Head coach Matt Mitchell will provide analysis of each signee.

National signing day is the first day high school athletes can sign a letter of intent with a college or university. 

Last week, online publication HERO Sports ranked Laker football as the top program in Michigan, regardless of division. Criteria included winning percentage, national championships and coach of the year awards. Read more about the top honor by clicking here.
