Reception will celebrate Merkle

H. Bart Merkle, vice provost for Student Affairs and dean of students, will be celebrated at a reception Friday, April 22, in Kirkhof Center.
The event will take place in room 2204 from 1-4 p.m., with remarks by Provost Gayle Davis at 2 p.m. The campus community is invited; RSVPs are not needed.
Merkle joined Grand Valley in 1984 as dean of students. He will transition from his current role in summer 2016 and join the College of Education faculty to teach in the higher education graduate program.
