Registration open for MIPERC, abstracts accepted
Registration is open for the ninth annual Midwest Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research Center Conference.
The conference is set for September 22-23 at the DeVos Center on Grand Valley's Pew Grand Rapids Campus.
Keynote speakers for "The Role of Interprofessional Teams in Health Care Delivery" are listed below.

• Gerri Lamb, director, Center for Advancing Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research and associate professor University of Arizona
• Nancy Schlichting, chief executive officer, Henry Ford Health System
• Stephen Schoenbaum, special advisor to the president, Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation
Cost to attend is $50 for one day and $100 for two days. Register online at www.gvsu.edu/miperc. A pre-conference event will include roundtable discussion based on specific themes relevant to interprofessional practice, education and research.
Abstracts are being accepted for podium and poster presentations. Health care professionals, students, researchers, educators and policy makers who have an interest in advancing interprofessional practice are welcome to submit an abstract for consideration. The deadline for submissions is July 15; click here for details.
The conference has been approved for continuing education credits for medical, nursing and pharmacy. Accreditation statements are available on the website.
