Women's soccer kicks off GLIAC tournament November 1

The Grand Valley soccer team will take on Northern Michigan University in the first round of the GLIAC soccer tournament at 2 p.m. on November 1 in Allendale.
The match between the Lakers and the Wildcats is the second meeting between the two teams this season. Grand Valley won the first match by a score of 3-0.
Grand Valley will enter the match with a record of 16-1-1, including a 7-1 record at home. Northern carries a record of 4-9-4, with a 2-4-1 record in away games.
The Lakers have won the GLIAC title in women's soccer for the past 12 years.
The GLIAC tournament semifinals and finals will take place on November 4 and November 6, respectively.
