A documentary about the GVSU baseball team's 2012 trip to Havana, Cuba, is set to air on WGVU Public Media.
"A Lesson in Diplomacy" tells the story of the team's games against Cuban all-stars and the humanitarian mission planned with First Hand Aid.
The film was co-produced by Gordon Alderink, associate professor of physical therapy and former pitching coach, and Frank Boring, affiliate professor of communication studies. Alumnus Charlie Pryor, '12, served as videographer and editor.
"A Lesson in Diplomacy" was first shown in fall 2014, and has been edited to air on WGVU Life on July 25, at 10 p.m., and on WGVU HD on July 30, at 2 p.m.
