Health Forum focus: human genetics
The Health Forum of West Michigan November discussion will center on human genetics, featuring panelists with backgrounds in research, medicine and government policy.
"Human Genetics" will be held Friday, November 3, at 8 a.m. in the DeVos Center, Loosemore Auditorium. A light breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m.
Panelists are listed below. Nicole Wright, allied health sciences faculty member and certified genetic counselor, will moderate the discussion.
• Janice Bach, state genetics coordinator and manager for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services;
• Megan Bowman, bioinformatics and biostatistics core manager for Van Andel Research Institute; and
• Dr. Caleb Bupp, medical genetics for Spectrum Health.
