Nine films highlight Latin American Film Festival

Nine international films are scheduled during the seventh annual Grand Rapids Latin American Film Festival, which runs March 31-April 2 at Wealthy Theatre, 1130 Wealthy St. SE in Grand Rapids.

David Stark, professor of history and coordinator of Latin American and Latino/a Studies, said the festival is a collaborative effort among West Michigan colleges and universities to enrich the cultural diversity of the area.

Admission is free to all films, which will be presented with English subtitles. See a list of films and screening times here.

The festival is sponsored by Aquinas College, Calvin College, Davenport University, Ferris State University, and Grand Valley.
