Teacher Search 2017, a job fair featuring Michigan employers, will take place April 25 from 1-4 p.m. at the Eberhard Center on Grand Valley State University's Pew Grand Rapids Campus.

About 160 recruiters representing 75 Michigan school districts and organizations will attend. Some recruiters may conduct short introductory conversations, while others may offer on-the-spot interviews. No advanced registration is necessary.

The event is free and open to the public for candidates who are fully certified to teach for fall 2017. Some organizations will also be recruiting social workers and speech/language, occupational and/or physical therapists.

The event is co-sponsored by Grand Valley, Aquinas College, Calvin College, Cornerstone University and Hope College.
