A group of professional skydivers made a special entrance to Grand Valley's football game November 11 at Lubbers Stadium.

In honor of Veterans Day, the skydivers soared into the stadium with American flags streaming from their backs. They landed midfield to deliver the football before the start of the game.

As part of the Veterans Day game, members of the Laker football team wore a special uniform inspired by the U.S. Navy. Two veterans were recognized and deemed honorary game day captains, and WGVU Public Media hosted several activities as part of its LZ Michigan program.

Grand Valley hosted Tiffin University at 1 p.m., and won, 45-7.
