Video: Grounds Dept. receives four-star accreditation

The Grounds Department in Facilities Services in Allendale and Pew Campus Operations recently received Four-Star recognition, the highest level possible, from the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) Landscape Management and Operations Accreditation program. 

The rating recognizes excellence in several categories, including management practices, sustainability initiatives, and environmental awareness and stewardship. 

The program involved a 12-month preparation process, which included making the video above, followed by a two-day campus review by an accreditation team.

The university was recognized for the achievement at the annual Green Industry Expo in Louisville, Kentucky in October.
