Health Forum event will focus on health care reform

Health Forum of West Michigan will host a presentation on health care reform at the DeVos Center March 2.

The state of health care reform will be discussed at the next Health Forum of West Michigan event.

Hosted by the Office of the Vice Provost for Health, the event is Friday, March 2, at the DeVos Center, Loosemore Auditorium. A light breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. followed by presentations at 8 a.m.

Speakers are Todd Anderson, director of public policy and regulatory affairs for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan; Laura Appel, senior vice president and chief innovation office for Michigan Health and Hospital Association; Frank E. Belsito, chief physician executive and chief population health officer for Metro Health-University of Michigan Health; and Marti Lolli, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Priority Health.

Sebastian Linde, assistant professor of economics, will be the moderator.
