Laker football signing class highlighted in live ESPN Signing Day Special

Grand Valley's football team will showcase the Lakers' 2018 signing class with a live ESPN broadcast for National Signing Day on Wednesday, February 7 from 12-2 p.m.

The program will feature highlights of new signing class members who are committing to play college football at Grand Valley, along with stats, analysis and interviews with head football coach Matt Mitchell. The program will be hosted by Grand Valley Sports Network commentator Tom Cleary and radio host Steve Lloyd-Jones. 

The broadcast coincides with National Signing Day, an NCAA-sanctioned date when recruits sign their letter of intent and officially commit to a college or university. 

Football staff members said they expect the team to secure one of the top signing classes in program history.
