Limited access to downtown campus buildings May 12

There will be limited access to buildings on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus because of the race route for the 5/3 Riverbank Run Saturday, May 12.

The DeVos Library will be open May 12 from 1-6 p.m.

Any classes normally held Saturday in the DeVos Center, Eberhard Center and L. William Seidman Center, have been moved to the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences (CHS) for May 12 only. Hours at CHS have been extended to accommodate this change. 

The DeVos parking lot will be closed beginning Friday night, May 11, and will re-open Saturday, May 12, once the race has ended (around noon).

CHS parking available on May 12:

• Prospect Lot, next to CHS on Michigan Street (Note: This will be the last week the Prospect Lot is open; it will close for construction beginning May 14.

• Raleigh J. Finkelstein Hall at 500 Lafayette NE

• CHS lower level parking will be open from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. but the building entry will be locked. Walk around to main doors for access if not regular faculty/staff members (access cards will still work). Lower level parking is open for this date only, it's not typically open on weekends. Vehicles will still be able to exit after 1 p.m. by pulling up to the exit gate.
