Local service for former professor set for Saturday

Edwin Joseph, former professor of geography and sustainable planning, died July 26 at his home in South Bend, Indiana. He was 60.
A memorial service will be held in Grand Rapids on Saturday, August 18, from 3-5 p.m. at Plaza Towers Condominiums, 160 Campau Circle. The reception is planned in the Campau Room by Jann Joseph, former associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Edwin Joseph served as faculty in geography and sustainable planning from 2001-2011, and also taught in the environmental studies program. He most recently worked as professor of sustainability studies at Indiana University South Bend.
