Research proposals sought for Sustainable Agriculture Project
The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship is seeking proposals from faculty members for projects at the Sustainable Agriculture Project farm site.
Amy McFarland, assistant professor of honors and environmental studies, said funding up to $6,000 is available. Projects must be in collaboration with students and related to some aspect of food systems; applications will be accepted from a wide range of disciplines or interdisciplinary study.
McFarland cited project examples as related to social and food justice, place-based food system practices or individual health/nutrition.
Submissions are due January 26; more information and directions to apply are online.
