Laker football and soccer teams enter NCAA tournament play this weekend on home fields and the games will be carried live.

The Laker soccer team will defend its regional championship title against conference rival Ferris State in the finals of the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional tournament Friday, November 16.

The 2 p.m. game at the GVSU Soccer Field will be webcast on gvsulakers.com. The Lakers have won nine straight Midwest Regional championships. Grand Valley brings a 22-0-1 record to the game; Ferris is 17-3-3.
