Three people to be honored during reception

Three people will be honored during the annual Celebrating Women in Sport and Physical Activity reception, which is set for Saturday, February 10.
Honorees are Kristy Bayer, '01, deputy director of athletics, Emporia State University; Bob Richthammer, former coach of Grand Valley's women's club rugby team; and Carol Vande Bunte, '78, former assistant women's basketball coach.
The reception will begin at 4 p.m. in the Fieldhouse, upper arena lobby area. Tickets are $25 and include food, beverages, and game ticket for the Laker women's basketball game against Davenport University. The game begins at 6 p.m.
Proceeds from the event support the Boand and Rowe Endowment for Advancement of Women in Sport and Physical Activity.
