Women's basketball team takes on Northern in GLIAC tournament opener

The first-round game of the GLIAC basketball tournament for Grand Valley's women's team will take place at 7 p.m. on February 28 against Northern Michigan University. The game will be broadcast live on WatchESPN.com.
The women's team enters the tournament with an overall record of 23-5, with a conference record of 16-4. The Lakers have won three games straight, including six of their last seven games.
