Controversial issues including attempts to change states' abortion laws, questions about citizenship on the 2020 Census, and voting and electoral rights have all been in the spotlight in 2019, and much of the guidance about how these issues may be resolved is included in a single document: the Constitution of the United States.

To celebrate Constitution Day, Grand Valley State University's Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies is hosting Jeffrey Rosen, president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, to discuss the nation's founding document. He will offer his insights into the Constitution as well as his recent research on the Supreme Court, and the concerns of the American people.
