Grand Valley Basketball opens 2019 with ESPN doubleheader

Grand Valley's men's and women's basketball teams will face off against GLIAC rival Ferris State University in an ESPN televised doubleheader on January 3.
The nationally-ranked women's team will play the opening game at 6 p.m. and the men's team will play at 8 p.m.
The women's team, ranked 10th in the nation, enter the new year with a record of 11-1, including a 4-0 record in conference play.
The men bring a 9-3 record, 3-1 in conference, to the contest.
Both games will be broadcast on WatchESPN, which is available at WatchESPN.com or on the ESPN app on compatible mobile and streaming devices.
