The Laker football team opens its 2019 season at home Saturday, September 7, against Edinboro (Pa.) University. The 7 p.m. game at Lubbers Stadium will air on ESPN3.
Grand Valley returns 44 players from last season, including 18 starters. The Lakers finished the 2018 season with a 10-2 record, losing in the first round of the NCAA Division II playoffs.
Edinboro finished last season with a 6-5 record.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3 and is available to ESPN subscribers via ESPN.com or the ESPN app.
