President Thomas J. Haas is meeting with policy leaders at the 2019 Detroit Regional Chamber's Mackinac Policy Conference being held at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Haas is joined by President-elect Philomena Mantella.
The annual conference brings together business leaders, education leaders, politicians and lobbyists to discuss education, talent, economic development, entrepreneurship, stewardship and sustainability.
Speakers included Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, former Ohio Gov. John Kasich, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, U.S. Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.) and U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), among many others.
