Virus Action Team update: VAT and Campus Readiness Team continue to meet to plan for fall

This academic year has been like no other. We want to thank you for your perseverance, flexibility and hard work. We appreciate your dedication to helping protect one another.
As the semester ends, the Virus Action Team (VAT) will continue to meet each week and will now send email updates twice monthly, or more frequently as needed. The Campus Readiness Team (CRT) will also continue to meet weekly and will share information as needed. Updated information will be posted on the Lakers Together website.

On-Campus Testing
Free on-campus testing will continue to be available for students, faculty and staff on the Allendale and Pew Grand Rapids campuses. We will not be sending out invitations. The testing schedule can be found here.

Vaccination
We strongly encourage the campus community to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccines are widely available; more information can be found here.
- Widespread vaccination will allow us to adjust our response to COVID-19.
- Those who are fully vaccinated do not have to quarantine if exposed to a known or suspected positive COVID case.
- It is important that you report your vaccination in your online self-assessment.
