Scott Wooster named Grand Valley head football coach

Scott Wooster has been named the eighth head coach of the Grand Valley football team. The announcement came January 21 from Director of Athletics Keri Becker.

For the previous three seasons, Wooster was the offensive line/tight end coach and run game coordinator for the Lakers.

Wooster succeeds Matt Mitchell, who stepped down to become the linebacker coach and special teams coordinator at the University of Wisconsin.
